The process of helping our residential clients begins with a free initial
site visit by a licensed Landscape Architect. During this visit, we will discuss the client's needs and desires as well as impart our professional opinions regarding
how these requests may work with the existing site conditions and the property owners budget. Using as much initial information
as we can gather from our conversation with the client, we will then put together a specific proposal for our services explaining
our fees and our role during the landscape design and build process.
Along with the information we gathered from our initial conversations, we will need to obtain as much information regarding
the client's property. Depending on the type of project, this information can be simple enough to obtain through field measurements
made by Model Properties, LLC. In most instances, though, it may involve the services of professional surveyors and / or
engineers which Model Properties can provide. We would also highly suggest the client provide any pictures of landscapes
or items that they would like to incorporate into their property.

With as much information as we can gather on the site along with all of client's personal requests, Model Properties will
begin the design process of the project. The design process is made up of three general phases:
1. Initial Schematic Design - preparation of a drawing showing hard and soft landscape features complete with sufficient
information to explain the general form, content, and quality of the proposed design.
2. Modify and Complete the Schematic Design in response to discussions with the client regarding the presented initial
design.
3. Construction Drawings and Specifications - Preparation of detailed drawings for the hard and soft landscape sufficient
for submission for approvals (as necessary), for tendering, and for construction.
